PSY 100 Assignment

This assignment is designed to test your understanding of biological psychology. As explained in chapter one of your text, there are three theoretical perspectives that attempt to biologically explain human behavior. These perspectives are evolutionary psychology, behavioral genetics, and behavioral neuroscience. You need to discuss how each of these theoretical perspectives can explain human behavior in a general way. You should also explain which perspective you think is most valid. Feel free to disagree with the theories, but be sure to support your argument with logic! You’ll need to draw significantly from your textbook, so pay careful attention to chapter 3 and chapter 8. Be sure to draw on the discussions in other chapters as well.

This paper should be 3-4 pages long with 12 point times new roman font, single spaced. PLAGIARISM will not be tolerated. All of your work should be original. If you quote the text book be sure to cite it properly. Use quotation marks if you’re going to draw directly from the text. Also, feel free to use outside sources, but make sure to cite them as well. This should be a general discussion of the theoretical perspectives in biological psychology, so don’t get hung up on the details.
