Executive Summary Germany is a very unique country when it comes to their living style, environment, cost of living and most importantly, their health care system. As the years have gone by, since the 1950’s the average household has actually decreased in Germany, on the other hand, now people are starting to live longer and the country has a wide range of foreigners who have migrated there for work and other reasons. The health care system has somewhat changed over the years and throughout this paper, I will show many different things regarding the health care services and quality of life.
Status Germany can be considered as an advanced industrial country: lower marriage rates, delayed marriage and child-bearing, low fertility rates, small household size, high divorce rates, and extended life expectancy. The amount of actual Germans living in Germany has been on a steady decline due to the fact that there have been more deaths then there are births since the late 1960’s going in to the early 90’s.
