Wages Research

Introduction

The connection of wages and wage earners has revealed a plethora of data used as observation by way of ratio within interval scales. This paper will identify at least 30 or more of those ratios and interval scales as it relates to annual wages. However, we will also form a comparison with a person’s occupation, years of education, and their work experience, to determine if their age, sex, nationality, and location will influence the outcome of this research.

Importance of Research

However, we must establish the short and/or long-term goals of the data collected, which equally incorporates a need for quantifiable measures. Quantifiable measure is defined as the “approximation of a subjective aspect (attribute, characteristic, property) of a thing or phenomenon into numbers through an arbitrary scale. Every aspect of nature can be quantified although it may not be measurable.” Therefore, our solution in the study of wages and wage earners is clearly to identify the standards by which we are to measuring the data presented.

The ultimate purpose of this research is to describe the problems that will determine the wage earners wages. Clearly a persons, age, sex, nationality, education, and location play a huge role in their earnings. Although we have laws and civil rights that assists those that have experienced the hideous side of discrimination, we still have a long way to go to eliminate companies from practicing this unlawful act in hiring prospective employees. Companies deny the use of discriminatory actions that determines the wages of an employee; however, for example, researches still show that women are paid far less than men are, and there are a number of other circumstances and situations that can be used in comparison.
