INTRODUCTION

The BT-2001 is a practical equipment capable for learning both theories and practices for hardware and software protocol for the Bluetooth technology. It was developed for students or researcher in the information and communication technology field to understand the Bluetooth technology and can also be used as equipment to develop products applying the Bluetooth technology.

It consists of two identical systems so users can send and receive data and voice through a Bluetooth link. Each system can be operated by a PC for data communication and by headset for voice communication. It enables reliable communication up to 10 meters distance between the master and the slave. In this report I will include the hardware overview, advantages and disadvantages of Bluetooth technology and summary.
