Operant Conditioning which is also known as instrumental conditioning describes how people’s behaviors are modified by their consequences. Sometimes the different behaviors can change in terms of form, frequency, and strength. I use operant conditioning all the time with my children. All three different types of behavior are utilized in the work place with either getting a raise or promotion for a job well done. When you are a teenager and you look up to an older girl you want to be like her and dress like her. These are all examples of all three different behaviors.
