While traditional fields of Engineering, Life Sciences and Natural Sciences have been updated with emerging trends, modern disciplines are being offered to prepare professionals to manage the ever-growing demands of knowledge economy with requisite degree of expertise. NUST Business School (NBS) is a leading light in the domain of business education in the country. It is verified by the employability of its alumni in the corporate sector and their performance in professional domain. NBS teams have won the Proctor and Gamble University Challenge for two consecutive years and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) business plan competition at the national level. They represented Pakistan in the regional contest in Bali, Indonesia this year and were among the top 6 out of 18 Asian teams. Besides business studies, the School offers programmes in Economics, Mass Communication and Public Administration. NUST is striving hard to translate its research and innovation into marketable products in order to generate wealth for the country. Entrepreneurship is offered as an elective course in all disciplines to cultivate awareness and prepare the students for profitable ventures in real life. These efforts are supported through Technology Incubation Centre and Intellectual Property Management Office to help the budding entrepreneurs.
