iPhone 4s Review

iPHONE 4S REVIEW

The iPhone 4s stormed the market in the fall of 2011. It sold over four million in the first 4 days of sales. Arguably the most anticipated and awaited products of 2012, the market eagerly waited to see its unveiling.

When the phone was unveiled, its shape and size was received critically because it had no difference with the iPhone 4. For most Apple fans like me, the mentality that Apple always comes with a lighter and sleeker product was starting to seem wrong. Looking at the difference between the iPhone 3 and the iPhone 4 or the iPod touch and the iPod 4G, I pictured a slim, sleek or just something new and different from the iPhone 4 but it didn’t meet my expectations.

The operating system fails to support the 4g LTE which is a faster and better service provider than the 4g. The location of the camera still slacks because the location still leaves the nightmare of a stray finger around pictures because of the camera positioning at the far top corner of the device. The 4s promised a better battery life of up to 8hrs with 3g connection which is just an hour more than the 4 but still an extra 60 minutes sounds good but for some reason, the standby dropped by 100hrs to 200 compared to the 4 (Stevens, 2011) and this is a real downside because a newer phone is expected to have a better standby system that provides longer hours to users.

Though physically the same with the phone prior to it, the iPhone 4s comes with different software and abilities. It came with a better virtual assistant, double the storage of the IPhone 4 which was 8 GB and a better, clearer and more realistic camera.

The phone comes with the new and by far better operating system, the Ios5. This new operating system has many improvements over the previous versions.
