Compare and contrast monitoring of patient vital signs using mobile computing technology to in-patient visits to the doctor’s office or hospital. Vital signs are most critical machine they came up with in medical profession because this technology can monitor patient body temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate and blood pressure. These different components can all be tied into mobile technology in our society today. In recent decade our patient would have to travel to the hospital or the doctor office to get these critical tests taken but with mobile technology such as cellular phones and other technology devices a patients can perform these critical test in the comfort of their homes. Not only these devices has allowed patient to monitor their own vital signs but it has allowed them to upload them to their physician servers. Through mobile technology hospital are taking advantages of these devices. For example: A patient for some reason might not be able to drive or get themselves to the hospital to perform these critical tests done; but with cellular phones such as smartphones, Personal data Assistants (PDAs), iPad, E-readers, and other mobile technology devices will allow them to do all these things and this is critical to any person health. Mobile technology has allowed a patient to take a more serious approach to their health care situation. These devices can connect to the hospital servers which enable the best care possible to the patient.
