Abstract

When you are applying for a position with many different firms you must do a research of the companies prior to the interview in order to have an idea and bring something to the table. The employers would have some questions for you about the position that you are applying for. They want to test your knowledge on how well you know their company history. This will help you to be able to come to the table with something to offer. This gives you a better chance of getting the position.

Reasoning

I choose these three companies because they have many different opportunities to increase their growth in this very competitive market place. The three companies I chose were Toyota, General Motors (GM) and Ford.

Toyota is one of the largest cars manufacturers that are located in Japan. The Toyota’s employees believe in the high technology and innovation to provide to their customers. They are also achieving an optimal balance between consideration of the environment, safety, drivability, comfort and reliability of their cars.

The second one is General Motors (GM) which is located in the United States. General Motors is also one of the largest companies in America that sells trucks and cars. They would benefit more in this competitive market by paying more attention to innovation and technology development to increase their customer base. General Motor is committed to delivering vehicles with compelling designs, flawless quality and reliability and leading safety, fuel economy and infotainment features. They have five principles that guide them in everything they do. Safety and quality first, create lifelong customers, innovate, deliver long-term investment value, and make a positive difference.
