1. Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,

nor stand in the way of sinners,

nor sit in the seat of scoffers;

Explanation: In the eyes of the lord, men who do bad things to others are evil. Man should not be influenced by bad men if he should like to be pleasant to the lord. If he do not mind sinners 2. and bad people, and does not take any influence from them, he is blessed.

2. He who corrects an arrogant man earns insult; and he who reproves a wicked man incurs opprobrium. Reprove not an arrogant man, let he hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you. Instruct a wise man, and he becomes still wiser; teach a just man, and he advances in learning.

Explanation: One should not interfere with an arrogant man because arrogant men do not lkike to be corrected because he has pride. Wise men, on the other hand, will thank you and like you if you will have him corrected by yourself. Normal men, on the other hand, will learn more once you correct him.

3. If you are wise, it is to your own advantage; and if you are arrogant, you alone shall bear it.

Explanation: Being wise is a really good thing one shall have. It lets you to make own desicions well. Being arrogant is a really bad thing because one will not listen to other people anymore. He hinself will suffer from his own arrogance.

4. For each man's ways are plain to the Lord's sight; all their paths he surveys; By his own iniquities the wicked man will be caught, in the meshes of his own sin he will be held fast; He will die from lack of discipline, through the greatness of his folly he will be lost.

Explanation: God knows what a man’s ways will be. He will always be the one who will decide on what the fate of a man should be. If a man is sinful he shall suffer from the lack of discipline.

5. Thus you may walk in the way of good men, and keep to the paths of the just. For the upright will dwell in the land, the honest will remain in it; But the wicked will be cut off from...
