Executive Summary:

For the completion of this project, we were asked to register an account at the website www.marketwatch.com and play a virtual stock exchange game, taking part in active trading and recording of stock price information. Market watch offers personal finance news and advice, tools for investors and access to industry research. We invested in various numbers of stocks which we thought would be profitable. We were able to use both technical analysis and fundamental analysis, since some company information was always easily publicly available on the internet, and since market watch also listed some ratios of the companies, which were relevant to making investment decisions about the stocks. I have documented the transactions and performances on a weekly basis, starting from the first week of July 2012 to the second week of August 2012.
