Understanding the customer and what they are looking for in a business is important. Not only will the customer come back for more but they will also have referrals and give good standings to the business. Making the business easier for the customer to work with is the best thing for both ends receiving. There are important steps and improvements the business can take to increase customers needs and achieve the highest standing goal the business is set to achieve.
When a business is looked at by the customer the question is asked, what can you do for me? With that question in mind companies have to look at the reverse affect of this and answer the question, what do we intend to give the customer? With all of the questions in mind expanding a business to make it more customers friendly based on the needs of the customers request.
Research
Updating the customers’ needs of a company needs to follow important highlights to recognize the customer. The Smart Insights (n.d.) website states the steps include:
• Listening
• Understand the unspoken, to be aware of surroundings
• Getting involved to grow
• Understanding localization
• Leading
In every business there is a need to have a customer relationship in order to understand the receiving side of the business. When the customer is able to give feedback in different ways of form it can help the business grow, improve, and change certain standards in place. Using the customer feedback and listening to the customer it can help exceed to other countries globally for expansion. According to Smart Insights (n.d.), “ living in UK and working with different countries as a multinational marketing team, I have a few year’s experience of trying to get closer to customers in “developed” and “emerging” markets” (para. 2).
