As a new campus recruiter for ABC, Inc., he has only been in this position for a small amount of time. This was his first time to interview applications for positions at his company. Carl Robins did not complete the applications in a timely manner or the 15 new trainees other paperwork. He also did not schedule the training room for the amount of time he would need for the trainees. Carl has many issues at the moment and probably will not be able to make the deadline of June 15. I feel he was not qualified for the job that he was put into and gave ABC, Inc. a bad name. The first issue I have found is his inability to plan and schedule appointments. Carl looked at having a month before orientation as plenty of time to wait and finish the applications later in the month. The cause for this is Carl not checking each person’s applications when they finished his or her paperwork for completeness. Another issue is Carl did not plan ahead and schedule a room to do the in processing for the new trainees on June 15. The cause for this problem is that he figured he could just come in that day and have a place to do orientation. The third issue I found was that he did not asking for help when he discovered the problems he was in.

Carl does not appear to be fully trained or experienced enough to completely execute the orientation of new employees with ABC Inc. It appears his incomplete training led to Carl not being able to completely process new employees, applications, drug testing and preparing materials for the orientation. Also I am not totally sure if Carl was supervised or not, during the process of hiring new employees, allowing employees to be hired without completing required documents and drug test. Additionally, complete sets of required training material were not secured in a timely manner, which jeopardized the entire training process very close to the orientation date that was set over a month ahead of time.
