Mrs. Sammy,

I would like to start first by thanking you for all the time, work and effort you have provided us at this company. At this time, we are currently making changes to our company policy and would like to inform you of such. Given the current economic state of the country, these changes in policy are being made to protect both the employees and the company.

Effective September 1st, there will be changes made to the store hours and that of the schedule of the workers. Store hours will now be shortened by 2 hours; they will open an hour later and close an hour earlier. The store will now also be closed on Sundays. Full time employees will now work 10 hour days as opposed to 8 hours, bringing their total to the usual 40 hours as they will now work 4 days a week. Part time employees will also experience this change and will be reduced to 3 days a week.

Due to the current economic state and inflation, these changes will assist in reducing the business expenses while ensuring we are all protected. With these changes, I assure you that business in the store will continue to run smoothly.

Again, I would like to thank you for your hard work and dedication. Employees like you are the reason why we have been successful. Right now, we are relying on you to inform all workers of these changes. Please advise them to reach out to our corporate office should they have any questions.
