HUMAN RESOURCES STRATEGY

1. REVIEW THE CASE STUDY – JKL INDUSTRIES

After reviewing the case study on JKL industries, the company have a number of human resource issues that need to be dealt with. There are clear human resource requirements that JKL need to put the appropriate strategies for delivering these services. The basic requirements are:

• Training and development programs,

• Employee development planning

• Performance counselling

• Succession planning

Based on the case of study, these 4 areas in the company should be improved.

The HR Manager has to come with new policies and procedures to negotiate agreements with the employers and to form a committee that specialises in industrial relation methods and have a good report and communication with the union. The HR department needs to come up with clear grievances, policies and procedures and to handle every case as priority within a given timeframe and to resolve all methods within the company.

2. DETERMINE HUMAN RESOURCES REQUIREMENTS.

The basic HR Requirements for JKL in order to comply with the organisational plan are:

- Employee development planning

- Performance Counselling

- Training and development programs

- Succession planning
