* “Dead man test- if a dead man can do it, its not a behavior
* Behavior is the result of internal, instinctual, biological drives (Eros & Thantanos)

* Ego- the middle, conscious
* Superego- the positive, in between, right/and wrong
* Id- Is unconscious, animalistic instinct, wants pleasure

* Positive punishment- reduces the probability of the behavior by taking something away. Can be done with animals and people
