1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Kerr Deliveries are expanding their delivery company operations to include Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane in 3 months. To facilitate this expansion, 6 additional administrative staff, 5 sales staff and 17 extra delivery personnel have been employed. New mobile devices and desk top computers are required to facilitate the successful growth of the company.

A comprehensive review of the latest PDA’s, Ultrabooks and Desk Top PC was undertaken and the subsequent recommendations can be found on page 10 of this report.

2 INTRODUCTION

To facilitate Kerr Deliveries expanding operations to include Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane additional employees and technology is required to ensure the successful growth of the company. Kerr Delivery’s is prepared to pay for good quality products as long as the evidence justifies and supports the spend.

Due to the number of desktops, laptops and PDAs needed for Kerr Deliveries a better price could be sourced. Research was undertaken to find the most suitable products that would allow multifunctional usage and meet the company's demands. After extensive research, four brands were short listed as the most appropriate products for Kerr Deliveries needs as follows:
