The Salvation Army’s South Mountain After School Program’s mission is to assist minors ages 5-17 with gaining leadership skills while reducing the juvenile crime rate in the area. This will be done by addressing the educational, emotional, social, and behavioral needs of these children while offering a supportive, safe environment for them and their families.
The South Mountain After School Program is requesting start up funds for the beginning of the program. The following proposal will give full details of the program and the benefits that this program will bring to the children, families, and community of the South Mountain area. Through services like mentoring, tutoring, counseling, and other leadership skill areas, this program works to help children build leadership skills that will ensure their future is headed in a better direction.
