Increasing Del Monte’s Presence in Kava

As discussed in Decisions in Paradise, Part I, Del Monte is looking to establish a larger existence in Kava. Overwhelmed with adverse circumstances, Kava has experienced one disaster after another bringing fourth problem after problem. The problems were as follow: natural disasters, ecological hazards, and a minimal work force of legal age. A decision making technique well know in the business world to help complete the expansion in Kava is as follows:

1) Why is a decision-making model needed?

2) Evaluate all elements involved.

3) Execute a situation analysis.

4) What are the symptoms and what are the problems of concern.

5) Create a choice of answers.

6) Evaluate the choice answers.

7) Explain individual, intellectual, and directorial principles.

8) Choose the best solution.

Proposal Feedback from The Del Monte’s Executive Team

This paper, Decisions in Paradise Part II will provide information concerning the application to increase Del Monte expansion. Content from the original application has been included in this report. Factors completing this program will be acknowledged, along with possible solutions. Necessary resources will be defined as well as any ethical implications that could possibly affect the project.

Del Monte has determined to increase their presence on Kava. It has been offered to construct state of the art environmental resistant buildings that are tested to withstand hurricanes and earthquakes. The buildings will also be built on higher elevations with fire retardant materials; taking these precautions with building materials and elevation types will prove to be the most cost effective for the company. This report outlines an implementation plan and discusses any ethical implication questions that may be addressed by employees and or Del Monte’s executive team.
