PowerPoint Slide Layouts
1. Title Slide - A title slide in PowerPoint can take on many different definitions, but in most cases, it is the first slide in the slide deck and appears in the PowerPoint workspace when that presentation is opened. By default in PowerPoint, the title slide offers two text boxes for a title and subtitle. Like the opening credits of a movie or flyleaf of a book, the title slide sets the pace for the ensuing presentation.
2. Title and Content - gives you the opportunity to list your presentation's name as well as include clip art or a chart.
3. Section Header - If several sections are included in your PowerPoint presentation, the Section Header layout separates them. The layout contains an area for text in addition to a spot to type the title of the new section.
4. Two Content - work best for comparison, contrast or closely linked information that would normally go together.
5. Comparison - lets you add a caption above the featured content.
6. Title Only - has one box for entering your title.
7. Blank - According to Microsoft Office Online, Blank Slide is an excellent layout choice if you want to personalize your PowerPoint presentation. Once you create a new layout from a Blank Slide, you can save it for future use.
8. Content with Action – This is where we could add title, text and clip arts.
9. Picture with caption - contains a place for you to insert your photo. If your picture has a name or title, type it beneath the content. At the bottom of the layout is an area to include a caption.
