On a yearly basis for Entrée level position, it normally starts around $30.000

There is a salary ceiling for this position, but there are plenty of other positions above this one. Normally, if you reach the ceiling of this position you are automatically moved next position up.

Is this industry heavily regulated?

From our point of you we look at it as business requirements to reach next level of compliance. Even though we don’t make law’s ourselves, we much stay compliant for our customers.

What do you find unique about your career field?

Unique is in the sense that I don’t know how to explain my work to others. I am project manager, but I am not. I usually have to think hard about this.

When people leave this career, what are the usual reasons?

The usual reasons that I can see would be being burned out. Sometimes a lot of hours are put in to the projects to meet deadlines.

Do other people in your company with the same job title have the same responsibilities?

Generally they do, however, depending on the client; sometimes we may do more or less.

How much job security do you have in this position?

I believe as long as we, as society, need healthcare, we should be in demand to build those systems.

Do you have to put in much overtime or work on weekends?

Sometimes yes, although, it isn’t often it does happen.

Do you ever bring work home with you?

Yes, sometime there aren’t enough hours in the day to accomplish all the tasks I need to.

I found out that positions I am most interested in, Technical Consulting within Healthcare industry may be interesting but requires a lot of hard work.
