Positioning statement is define as a "blueprint of how a brand will be preferred in the given market niche in a clear and concise manner. It should convey how the brand characteristics are different from market competitors".

Positioning Statement for Centenary College:

To write an effective positioning statement, segmenting a target market is essential. Without a target market, a brand will be lost in the heterogeneous and overcrowded market. Identifying a target market provides a narrow scope to develop a more focused and effective messages in appealing to the needs and wants of the homogenous part of the market.
