What is a SDLC?

A Systems Development Life Cycle is the entire process of building, deploying, using, and updating an information system. Also known as the acronym - SDLC.

What is a Iteration?

An iteration is the repetition of something happening.

The iteration process would involve a complete cycle of requirements, design, implementation, and test disciplines.

Describe how incremental development might apply to the project.

Incremental development would definitely be applied to this example, because once there is different iterations applied to the project, then there will be more and more increments.

How would an iterative approach decrease project risks compared with a non-iterative approach such as Waterfall SDLC?

The Waterfall SDLC approach is designed so that the user moves forward through different phases, keeping in mind when the user completes one phase, he/she cannot go back. The iterative approach would decrease risks, because the user can go back through different phases to pick out errors that may have occurred. Since the iterative approach is smaller increments it is easier to go back and change, as opposed to the Waterfall approach where it is many smaller phases put into one to make a large phase, so it makes it harder to pick out where the issue is coming from.

What are some risks of the iterative approach presented to the project?

There isn’t many risks that come with the iterative approach, but a couple may be that the approach runs too smoothly and too quickly, and that errors may be made because of this.

I would say a minimum of 3 Information...
