A study on job satisfaction of employee in BSFIC (Bangladesh Sugar & Food Corporation)

Introduction:

All over the world, there is a realization that job satisfaction has a potential impact on employees’ work life. It provides the management a scenario about how to utilize the resources so that the human resources will perform effectively & efficiently. The significance of the study is to address the problem ongoing in various sector of job, regarding job satisfaction level of the employees and providing information about the factors that are related to create this kind of situation.

Problem Statement:

In the family life and social life should not be strained by working. This study quantifies the effects of job satisfaction level on employees work life. It aims to gain an insight into current working life policies and practices as well as work life balance issues of employees. Several notable factors that influence job satisfaction level such as: Adequate & fair compensation, Safe & healthy working condition, Opportunity to use & develop human capabilities, Opportunity for career growth etc.

Research Questions:

1. What are the factors of good working conditions that influences employee to be more productive?

2. What are the attributes that has impact on job satisfaction of the employees?

3. Find out the link between job satisfaction level and work life of the employees?

Rationale of the study:

The success of any organization highly dependent on how it attracts, recruits, motivates & retains its workforce. Today organizations need to be more flexible so that they are equipped their workforce and enjoy their commitment. Therefore organizations need to adopt a strategy to improve the employee’s job satisfaction level.
