Summer class almost done, History class explains to me a great many famous events from 1500 to Western Civilization. I think this period is attractive and influence society at present. To my way of thinking, Marco Polo ‘s Journey indicated that human being opened the world door. Pillage recourse became the mainline during this period. Exploration; Humanity; War and Hope can well represent the characteristic of that era.

1500 year, history began with “Navigator”, such as Christopher Columbus, Vasco de Bellboa. I appreciate the spirit of those explorers. The most important spirit is unfairness. They might be afraid of the danger and unknown world that they will face. But they still keep going go always and never give up.   Curiosity is another common point and plays a key role in their spirit. They explore the new world because of their curious. Curious push the development of human being and society. In addition, Determination is one of significant elements. Their determined belief gave them strength to stick on exploring while facing difficulties. In summarize, if these navigators don’t explore the world, we still even think earth is flat. They carried man’s dream. They make world become completion. They are Golden of Middle Ages.  

In that age, many countries rather craze for emperor and religion then ignore the humanity. Centralization is the main rule of that society. One of the famous emperors in Europe that can best illuminate centralization is Louis XIV, which gave me a deep expression on his story. Louis xiv established a monarchy, baroque autocratic kingdoms in France. He created many great achievements in her life, such as made wars, built Versailles, luxurious banquet, supporting the development of the art and science. In addition, In order to strengthen the French military, financial and decision-making authority of the organization, he let whole French bureaucrats under control by him, Louis XIV hold power for 72 years and is one of the longest...
