Expanding the Business

As the organization’s IT professional I have been asked to propose a solution that will connect all users in a manner that will allow them to manage and share files within our company. As you know, our organization has grown drastically in the past few months and we now have a need for a more centralized file sharing system. There are several options to choose from but I am going to propose what I think will best fit our ever-growing company. I don’t think installing a network attached storage device will solve all of our issues. And I don’t want to spend the money on installing servers because I feel that these may be beneficial to our company in the future.

I am going to propose that we look to the future of data storage and backup and spend our money on cloud file sharing service. We will no longer have to worry about expensive hardware laying around or office waiting for something bad to happen like hard drive failure. The service I am proposing is a cloud file sharing service called LeapFILE. LeapFILE is unlike other cloud file sharing services because it focuses solely on serving businesses like ours. Their platform is built specifically for enterprise usage in order to ensure maximum security and reliability. LeapFILE has a number of features that stand out to me that I’d like to share. They have the latest and greatest certified data centers as well as the best in class networks. In addition, LeapFILE has extensive security features that are in compliance with federal regulations and state-level data encryption and privacy breach laws(LeapFILE, 2013).

If we implement the usage of LeapFILE, we will be able to eliminate the need for traditional hardware and software that often are actually more expensive and too time consuming to implement and support internally.
