According to an article written by Wayne Hurlbert :“Honesty is the best policy, it pays off in customer and community relations, and it pays off for the world. Practicing strong business ethics is the ultimate win-win for everyone.” (.The world we live in today is full of lies, deceit and corruption. Temptation is like a delicious piece of fruit that is hanging around waiting to be picked up at every corner. In today’s society that fruit has come to us in many forms and one of those major forms is businesses. Some businesses may come with a blindfold that shields us from the hidden truth of how unethical their companies tend to be. This type of unethical behavior that is practiced by some companies tends to be never ending circle that occurs to further advance companies to the forefront of the business food chain. Surprisingly, this type of behavior can cloud business with a negative reputation and often lead to the demise of some companies. This paper will examine the dilemma faced by Benji Watson and his dilemma as a upstanding Christian to decide on accepting a opportunity of a lifetime from New Gen Health Sciences.

Benji being a top level MBA student, has a very bright future ahead of him with being offered the job opportunity of a lifetime with what he thinks is an upstanding and righteous company. Just as in everyday life things may look deceiving and not always what they are portrayed to be in actuality. Benji was offered an opportunity to get to know the company and that he did upon a internet search of New Gen while waiting to leave for the conference. He found the company CEO of company wasn’t all he portrayed himself to be and that him wanting a healthier country and so called prominent code of ethics were all a lie. His search provided information that the CEO tended to be more for profit and benefits of him rather than helping to make the world a better place.
