Employment laws guarantee safety to the workers of the company while also assisting the company abides by regional, state, and federal laws. Being a company, the proprietors have a responsibility to be acquainted and abide by the regional, state, and federal laws to guarantee workplace compliance. Barbara’s Bakery, LLC is new organization seeking to employ fresh employees; but, Barbara’s Bakery, LLC has concerns with regards to the employment laws. The consultant team came into the company at the request of Barbara’s Bakery; LLC to consult with regards to the employment laws and make sure the bakery is certified. The 2 crucial laws for discussion and research these days are the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (FLSA) and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).

Provisions

The Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 needs a minimum salary as a minimum salary standard to be paid out to insured workers. This law offers the provision that each worker gets a reasonable and reasonable salary, avoiding the company from discriminating against the worker and paying out a reduced rate to a man against woman worker. The FLSA also provides provisions for the hours an insured worker works as well.
