Patton Hospital

Patton Fuller Hospital has four information systems that allow them to improve communication between the senior management, employees, doctors, nurses, and patients. The improved communication allows Patton Fuller Hospital to help improve the day to day operations of the hospital and access with the patients. The four information systems are the accounting and finance information system, human resources information system, customer relationship management information system, and the knowledge management (KM) information system. The accounting and finance information system is used to help manage all aspects of the accounting and financial department such as account receivables, accounts payable, budgets, cash flows, assets, liabilities, and net income. The human resource information systems are used for training opportunities, hiring, and employee reviews. The systems also have the capability for employees to access such things as benefits and other personnel actions via intranet. The customer relationship management (CRM) information system is used to help analyze and track patient recommendations, complaints, and customer comments. The information is then sent to the senior management in order to build customer loyalty. Another function of the CRM can also be used by patients via the WEB in order to provide feedback to the hospital. The knowledge management information system (KM) is used by the doctors and nursed in order to track online medical databases to help with the diagnosis and drug administration for their patients.
