In the Webster dictionary, sin is defined as an offense against religious or moral law, a transgression of the law of God and, an often serious shortcoming. So basically all sins are sins and therefore are no little sins and big sins because if a killer kills either a baby, a teen or, a granny he’s still consider as a killer. Joel Osteen a well-known minister even says that there are no degrees of sins and God sees all sins as sins and we’re all God’s children. In the eyes of God we are all sinners saved by grace and only through his son Jesus Christ which is written in the Bible. The Bible is a book inspired by God but writing by man and throughout the years has been translated and written in many versions. Leviticus 20:13 refers to homosexuality as, when a man lie with his kind and a woman for that matters is considered as an abomination and their punishment shall be death. In the Old Testament it states in the Ten Commandments “Thou shalt not kill,” but why would the bible contradicts it? That’s only one of the many types of sins that every Christians seems not to preach or talk about. For example: Fornication, lust, adultery, gossip, false teaching, Envy, and hatred are all sins mentioned in the bible but why hate the LGBT community. As Christians the Bible teaches us to love and spread the gospel, not judge and commend those who straw away from the word of God. Aren’t we all God’s children and if so, that also includes the homosexuals, killers, liars, and non-believers. I understand being a homosexual is wrong when compared to the bible but there can be many factors that can lead to that happening. For example being raped, raised by house full of woman and having no father figure in a child’s life. As a kid I was taught to hate everything that goes against the bible but as I grew I learned to embrace everyone for who they are no matter their likes or dislikes.
