Professional Workplace Dilemma

The workplace is a location most individuals spend a large part of their days, and it is not a surprise that ethical delimit can occur. The diversity of coworker’s cultures, values, and beliefs within the workplace heightens the probability that a person will experience a workplace dilemma at one time or another in his or her careers. This paper will provide an example of an professional workplace dilemma and will analyze the dilemma by providing fact of the experience, who was involved, and relationships of the parties involved with the dilemma. Outcomes will provide consequences of all parties involved to understand the dilemmas full scope and ramifications.

Organization Structure

As a teacher with Central Teas 4–C, a Head Start learning center, I interacted with managers, coworkers, and parents on daily basis. My coworkers became my confidants, and we formed personal relationships within, and outside our working relationships. As educators we are required to must present professional behaviors at all times. To avoid conflicts, and dilemmas within the workplace we decided to meet on weekends to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and other special to gather without pressure of maintaining a high ethical standards as within the workplace.

During the gatherings I formed a special closeness to S.K. She was about the same age as me, and we also had similar educational goals, we both went to college in the evenings together to further our education in early childhood.
