1.Explain which position are typically in the front office division
The typical functions of the front office division are to be able to provide guest service to all guest, setting standards for front office staff to follow and also maintain personal contact with guest to ensure total satisfaction . Also, investigating and resolving guest complaints. Other responsibilities are supervising the front office staff; shuttle van, including recruitment, training, scheduling, budgeting process and controlling cost.
2. Explain which position are typically in the housekeeping division
The typical functions of the housekeeping division is maintaing recycled and non – recycled inventory items. Inspecting rooms before they are available for sale. Ensuring clean occupied and vacant rooms. Also, communicating status of guestroom to the front office.
3. Summarize the functional hotel section on an organizational chart
Rooms Division:
