Family Stories

I have a story that’s embarrassing that my family tells everyone and, they say it every time we’re driving. I also have some stories about them too that they don’t like people knowing. My family tells everyone stories that are embarrassing but sometimes can be funny. Parents love to embarrass their children so they can let everyone know the funny things that happened to them that they think are funny.

To begin with, my family likes to harass me about when my mom got pulled over on the Mass Pike and, the cop was standing in the road and I thought the trooper was just waving to us. We were headed to the wrestling show that my brother was in and my mom was speeding over by fifteen miles. There was a state trooper standing outside of his car before we even were by the exit and then all of a sudden I saw my mom pulling over and I was like “what are you doing” and she said “we are getting pulled over.” The trooper said, “I need your license and registration.” I told her when he left that I just thought he was waving to us because he was just moving his hand like he was “waving”. My mom said, “Are you fucking serious $160 I don’t know where I will shit this money out.” She ended up with a one hundred and sixty dollar ticket. Every time we see a trooper or a cop now my family harasses me about whether we will get waved to again. This happened on a nice summer afternoon when it was ninety degrees and you could feel the sweat pouring off of us. My mom was so mad and I was just naïve about trooper.

Furthermore, an embarrassing story of my sister that always gets told is how she always stole my pacifier when we were younger. My parents told us how she always lost her pacifier and then took mine so they would have to keep buying pacifiers every day. They said they she went through 20 the most in one day. We would be in a double stroller together because we are 18 months apart and she would just...
