The myth I decided to choose was the Navajo Creation myth, whose creator was called Begochiddy, a male god who was known as the child of the sun. He looked like a childlike sunflower revolving around the earth. He was the one out of six beings that came out of the first world before everything was created. The beings were First Man, First Women, Salt Women, Fire God , and Coyote.
The First World
Begochiddys first creation was four mountains, White Mountains in the east, blue in the south, yellow in the west and black in the north. He also planted a big seed that soon grew into an enormous reed. He then crawled inside the reed with all of his creations and from there the reed grew into the second world.
The Second World
The Second World brought for the first beings into a blue colored world where they took residence for just a short while, but because of the Cat People already living there it started a big feud between these two worlds for years. So between the first beings and the Cat People there was not any agreement.
The Third World
Begochiddy gathered all of his creation as he did in the first world and placed them inside of the hollow reed again. The reed continued to grow into the third world. This world was yellow and also filled with light. This world really excited the first beings because they waited for a world that was full of light. So once they arrived here the First Beings were overjoyed with happiness so they decided to build camps and started families. Begochiddy created rivers, lakes, and mountains plus animals and many different species of birds.
One day one of the beings Coyote, found a baby along the river. This baby was the child of the Water Monster of the third world. To protect the baby Coyote hid the baby out of view, but when the Water Monster discovered that his child was missing he became...
