Cash Reserve Requirement (CRR) and Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) have been calculated and maintained in accordance with the Section 25 & 33 of the Bank Company Act 1991 and subsequent BRPD Circular No. 11 & 12, both dated August 25, 2005 and as per Bangladesh Bank's Letter No. BCD (P) 744 (23)/ 5 dated January 03, 1987. With effect from October 01, 2005 CRR is @ 5.00% of total Time & Demand Liabilities daily on bi-weekly average basis; but CRR position should not be less than 4.50% in any day as per BRPD Circular No.01 dated 12 January, 2009. As per guidelines given by Bangladesh Bank IBBL maintained CRR minimum @ 5.00% daily on bi-weekly average basis & CRR was not less than 4.50% in any day throughout the year.
