During our amendment presentations I was able to learn a lot and memorize each amendment in a creative way. One of the things that worked exceptionally well was the group participation. I think that with everyone putting in new and creative ideas was what made the memorization so much easier. One thing that could have improved was the communication that we had, or at least in our group. The only time we actually talked was when we decided who was going to do what. More communication would have been better because we could have helped each other with new ideas.

I think that the most important amendment is the First amendment. This amendment deals with our freedoms such as the freedom of religion, assembly, petition, press, and speech. It guarantees us those rights as american citizens.I believe it is the most important because it impacts our lives daily and it is one of those amendments that we sometimes take for granted, but if it were to be taken away, we would notice the change rapidly and would appreciate it more.

The fourth Amendment protects us from unreasonable search and seizure. This means that our belongings can not be searched or taken away without consent, probable cause, or a warrant. without this amendment the police would be able to break into your house without any reason or be able to take your things without your consent. The fifth amendment deals with the rights of the accused. Meaning that they protect people who are being charged with a crime. It give people the right against self incrimination and the right to see who is suing them. Without this amendment law enforcement could make people say anything even if it was against themselves. The sixth amendment gives people the right to a speedy trial meaning that a person can not sit in jail for more than a year without being in a trial first.
