Introduction

In today’s resort industry, users or customers can easily book a reservation for cottages, rooms, and pools from any place in the world as long as they have a mobile phone or they are connected to the internet. The innovation of technology has made booking of reservation for customers much easier with just a one call or click away. Resorts Business is very popular especially in summer season in Philippines. In this said season, hundreds or even thousands of people goes to the resort just to refreshen up but what if you are living in a remote area miles away from the resort you want to go or you are living abroad? You can’t just go there and demand a cottage, rooms, or pools. Of course, you’ll need a reservation but mostly of the resort here in Philippines uses a manual system of booking a reservation. One example is Malamig Park Resort, so we, the Students of Bulacan State University, propose to make a Reservation System (Cottage Only) for their resort.

Statement of the Problem

Based on our research, we found out that the problem of this study is:

How will this system help the management and staff to hasten up the process of booking a reservation for the customers?

Objectives of the Study

The objective of this study is to develop a Reservation System (Cottage Only) for Malamig Park Resort.

Scope and Delimitation

• Scope

This study focused on providing a computerized reservation system for Malamig Park Resort and provides a reliable process on every transaction especially when it comes to booking a reservation. Our system only displays inputted information via JOptionPane.showMessageDialog and resets all of the jTextField and jComboBox to a blank textfield or combobox.

• Delimitation

Our system doesn’t connect to a database so users cannot search, add, update, or delete a record.
