Dear John Dewey,

I am writing this letter pertaining to your theory of pragmatism. I have selected this theory because I am interested in the scientific aspect of how you think. I noticed that you like to challenge logicians on their position to answer the question of truth. This seems like it can be a hard thing to figure out. I admire how you challenged some of the most logical thinkers of these times and made them to come up with true answers. I believe this is one of your strong suites because you so it very well.

I am aware that you were not opposed to modern logic because of the statement you made “logic based upon the idea that qualitative objects are existential in the fullest sense. To retain logical principles based on this conception along with the acceptance of theories of existence and knowledge based on an opposite conception is not, to say the least, conductive to clearness – a consideration that has a good deal to do with existing dualism between traditional and the newer relational logics” (Dewey, 1930). In finding these things it allowed you to determine if the phenomena that you were investigating and examining were true or untrue. This is yet another aspect of you that I find interesting because so many things on this earth are hard to Understand. I am almost certain that there are numerous questions that have not been answered for you because...
