Imagine what it’s like to leap through the air - the feeling of height taking its course for a split second as the world watches, or just to twirl around as if the world was frozen around you; feeling unstoppable even if it is just for the precious moments given to you on stage. Dancing gives me this feeling, a feeling of belonging whether it is in the present or future, perseverance, and most of all , passion. Dance is an expression from the heart, shown simply through body movements.

Dance Theme is so much more than a dance studio, it is the place where through the years I have been growing up with good friends, sharing laughter and facing challenges. In the course of building these unforgettable memories, Dance Theme became my home away from home. The amazing teachers and fellow dancers, in many ways, have shown me how blessed I am to have dance and all aspects of it in my life. Being a full program dancer has had its ups and downs, which indeed present many challenges: being critiqued is never easy and shakes your confidence which does show through how you present yourself on stage and affects the group as a whole. Over time, I have learned the importance of believing in myself and reaching beyond my perceived limits to set the bar even higher for myself. Everything about dancing never fails to bring an enlightened smile to my face, from all my unique experiences and watching the delight on the faces of the little ones I help teach as they have the time of their lives in dance class.

Through my years of dance training I want to achieve good health, an open mind and an ability to face challenges with grace and dignity.
