Abstract

The business world has become a vast and ever-changing environment. It is evolving into a very competitive market. The change has come about due to the Internet revolution and all the things that it can provide for a business. There are certain businesses that cannot be replaced with an online storefront. The ones that can are the ones this paper will discuss. The conventional wisdom of the ma and pa shops has gone down the drain and a new present day shift in the way we do business has come about. With lower costs to run, maintain and advertise, the Internet may start putting the brick and mortar shops out of business for good. The findings that I will show you will provide insurmountable evidence to the shift in business practices. The online market is growing at an exponential rate and consumers are willing and trustworthy of what all the commodities the Internet has provided to businesses ever-growing customer base.
