Forming a Hypothesis

School improvement is based on a hypothesis. The goal of a hypothesis is encourage higher test scores and boost student achievement. This can be measured through testing, standardized testing and classroom observations. Schools want to see student improve in reading, writing, math and science. Schools want to provide assistance to students who live in poverty and lend a hand in pulling them away for a culture they have always known. Hypothesis encourages school improvement in areas such as curriculum improvement, meeting AYP measures and instructional practices in the classroom. These three points work together so that students are academically successful. AYP measures are very important to a school system and meeting them weigh heavily on how successful our classroom instruction implemented in the classroom. Monitoring the correct data and making changes when necessary will ensure that schools are making correct decisions on turning their school around to being proficient rated schools.
