Abortion vs. adoption

When most women walk into a clinic to get a pregnancy test done and it comes back positive. The first thoughts in a woman could be feeling are possibly joy or scared. Then a nurse comes in to give you some options of course there’s keeping the baby, or aborting the baby. But then what happens to that last option? Which would be adoption for the baby why is this never one of the choices women can make for their unborn child. Adoption may be one of the best decisions a woman could make for her baby.

Abortion and adoption both mean to get rid of your unborn child but in very different ways. One will benefit the unborn child more by giving the child a chance at life. Many women that go with this option end up getting looked down at by people in society. Reason being is because people in society feel that the women is just voluntary giving up her child and not taking care of her responsibilities, but these closed minded people are not considering the fact that this child is at least going to have a life and family that will accept the child and be able to better provide for the child. Unlike women deciding to get an abortion where the child will never be giving the chance to open its eyes or see the outside world.

When finding out your pregnant women began to fight with their minds over what decision (Brannagan, 2011) would benefit both mom and child to do. Reality hits when you have to think about another life you have to take care of. This right away may scare women into getting an abortion. Others who may follow through with abortions are those who might have been rape victims possibly even women who are just scared to give birth period may go to get a abortion done they may not want to deal with parenthood or just not want to be a parent at all for that matter.
