A report about pieces and marketing.

1.1 Preface

During week 48, 2013, we had to make a report about the company Bestseller. In the beginning of the week, we received a short presentation about the company. After the presentation we had to attend classes about methodology where they taught us how to start a project like this. We learned how to create a problem proposal and how to solve your problem. So after the class we created our problem (which you will read about later in this report) and it was approved by one of our supervisors.

At the end of the week we have to hand in our final report, so during the week we met everyday at school to work on the project together which was really good.

We would like to thank the supervisor for their availability for any questions.

1.2 Summary

In this report we will talk about the company bestseller, more specific about their brand Pieces, their marketing and the Scandinavian market. In our report we use the SWOT analysis and the Porter’s five forces. We decided that they have to invest more in marketing, especially during holiday periods. They have to improve their online marketing via social media so the younger generation gets aware of the brand.
