1. How to change a Theme

Step 1: Hover over the New Britain Youth Network button at the top left of the screen.

Step 2: There will be options under this button with an “Edit” option. Click this.

Step 3: Click on the “Appearance” tab on the left side with all the options.

Step 4: Once you click the Appearance tab, you will have access to thousands of themes if you ever wanted to change the existing look of the website. (Keep in mind if you change a theme, it might not always be compatible with the widgets you’ve chosen already). Different themes can only use certain widgets, so choose your theme accordingly.

2. How to change Header

Step 1: Hover over the New Britain Youth Network button at the top left of the screen.

Step 2: Click on the “Edit” option.

Step 3: Click on “Appearance” tab on the left side with all the options.

Step 4: Click on “Customize” tab in order to customize the website.

Step 5: After clicking the customize tab the website will show up and a panel on the right side of the screen will appear. You want to click the “Site Title” option to change the header.

Step 6: Change the Site Title and Tagline for your website.

3. How to create a Menu Item

Step 1: Follow Steps 1 to 3 from How to change a Header.

Step 2: Once you get to this screen again, you choose the Menus option instead.

Step 3: Once you click on the “Menus” button, you have the ability to create a whole new menu, add to your menu tabs, create links, and create categories as well.
