Company Introduction

AT&T is the largest telecommunication holding company in the world by revenue. AT&T’s subsidiaries and affiliates operate in the communications services industry in both the United States and internationally, providing wireless and wireline telecommunications services and equipment (Additional Information-US Presence," 2013). The company provides services focused on three revenue-producing segments: wireless, wireline and advertising solutions.

AT&T Mobility is comprised of the company’s wireline and wireless segments. Its wireline segment provide primarily landline voice and data communication services, AT&T U-verse TV, high-speed broadband and voice services (U-verse) and managed networking to business customers. Advertising solutions, which recently sold in May 2012, transitioning out of publishing the original yellow and white pages directories.
