Transformers are an integral part of any electrical system. Whenever there is failure of transformer, it leads to tremendous loss. It happens as there is normally no hot standby and inevitably leads to power supply of longer durations. The transformer failure can be avoided, by closely testing the transformers and detecting the impending in formative stages itself.
