THE CHANGED MONKEY

Once upon a time in the kingdom of all animals, the king of the animals, the lion summoned all the animals to his palace for a very important meeting. After they gathered, the lion was called to address the animals.

“We are tired of the humans hunting us down at all-time said the Lion”. He added; “What do we have to do to stop this kind of brutal act from the humans toward us he questioned”?

“The humans are just too smart for us answered the elephant; they set all kinds of traps to capture our children, members of our family and even us the grown-ups”.

“I don’t really think there is anything we can do about this ruthless act from the humans the Tiger put in; just last week the human took my little cub away from me”.

There is something that can be done, the Monkey said with his husky voice. Speak louder! Yelled the Lion.

“What’s your point he asked him”?

“We can go to God for solutions to our problems the monkey replied”.

I think the Monkey is right said the Lion, we should all go to God and ask him to change us to human, we have the right to be smart too he said.

After deciding on what to do for a very long time, all the animals agreed to go to God for solutions to their problems, and a day was set for aside for the journey. On the day agreed upon, they all gathered at the lion’s palace and embarked on the journey to go see God. They traveled for days and nights, weeks and months and they eventually arrived at the gate of heaven.

“We are here for you to change us to human, the Lion said to God, we are tired of been hunt, trapped, shoot and killed by the human, we want immediate solution to our problems”.

“God answered and said if all animals stay away from the human there won’t be any problem but some of you leave with the human”.

All the animals started crying to God to consider their plight God said,

“I will give all the animals the chance to become human. There is a dry river at...
