CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd. is looking for candidates from BANGLADESHI national to be recruited as CADET PILOT.

1. The position demands the following:

i. HSC (Science) 2nd division/Grade B/GPA-3 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics or equivalent (2.4 in case of GCSE ''A'' Level). No third division or equivalent result in any examination acceptable;

ii. Commercial Pilot License Issued/Endorsed by Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) with instrument rating valid/renewed up to 31 Dec' 2010;

iii. Age limit: 18-40 years. Additional 200 hours of flying experience required for each year in excess of 30 years of age and up to maximum 40 years. Age relaxable up to 32 years for the son /daughter of the freedom fighters without any additional flying experience but additional 200 hours of flying experience be required for each year in excess of 32 years and up to 40 years of age. No affidavit will be accepted in case of date of birth;

iv. Class- I medical category declared by CAAB approved medical authority;

v. Foreign certificate/degree holders should submit equivalent certificates duly endorsed by the competent authority;

vi. Candidates employed in Government/Semi-Govt./Autonomous Bodies or organizations must apply through proper channel.

2. Applicants will need to appear at written test and interview organized by Biman.

3. Selected Candidates will have to undergo training for specified period at Bangladesh Airlines Training Center and any other institute approved by Biman.

4. Stipend: TK. 15,000/- per month during training period.

5. After successful training, the cadet pilot will be appointed as First Officer with applicable salary package for five years on contract basis. The contract will be renewable.

6. Selected candidates will have to execute an agreement and a surety bond separately on a non-judicial stamp of Tk. 150/-.
