The issues that are being addressed in this chapter are a subsequence of sexual assaults. Sexual assaults are crimes committed by an offender who touches a victim in an unwanted and offensive manner, and can range from sexual groping or assault/battery. We are going to discuss statistics, the impact on victims, the vulnerability factors, characteristics of a rape offender, classification of rape patterns and an illustration on the Knight and Sims-Knight three-path model.
