Bill Gates has made a very big mark in the entrepreneurial world. He has unique characteristics that led him to be one of the most successful men of all time. "We were young, but we had good advice and good ideas and lots of enthusiasm." Bill Gates said this at an interview in response to being asked how he became successful so early in his life. All entrepreneurs have many different personalities that make them unique in different ways. Bill Gates himself was more of a visionary, meaning that he had more focus on a future vision of the business rather than what was soon to come. Visionary personalities have a high degree of curiosity to understand the world around you and set up plans for success in the future.

“I had long-term vision of how the personal computer would revolutionize every fact of life. Once again, there were many others with the same vision I had. I took massive, immediate action. This is where the rubber meets the road. If you’re in the right place at the right time and have the vision to see where a new technology is going but don’t take action…you’ll never be successful. Without all three components in place, you’re doomed.” This truly shows how Bill Gates personality is what started everything for his success. He knew that many people had the same dreams and visions as he did, but he made them a reality. By sitting back and letting the ideas you have go to waste and not putting them to use is just killing any hope of making something of yourself in this kind of business.

Being able to visualize your goals and where you want your success to be at is only the beginning of Bill Gates characteristics.
